Laurette Ho, MD
Dr. Ho received her B.A. degree with honors from Wellesley College. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham in 1992. After completing her pediatric residency at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, she was named Chief Resident and Associate Residency Program Director. While there, she spent her time teaching medical students and residents while also seeing patients as an attending physician.
In 1997, she relocated to Atlanta and established Sandy Plains Pediatrics in 2000 after working for Egleston Pediatric Hospital. She and her husband, Vincent Ho, MD, have 3 adult children. They enjoy spending their free time with family.

Laetitia Badio, MD
Dr. Badio was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Haiti as a child. Early in life, she decided medicine was the career that fulfilled her passion to help those in need. She returned to the US to attend the University of Miami where she was active in global relief initiatives. She attended Meharry Medical College and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Emory University.
Dr. Badio enjoys cooking Haitian food and is an avid gardener. Nutrition and exercise are routine for her and she wants to emphasize the importance of both with school age and adolescent patients.

Lindsey Owens, PNP
Lindsey is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, having earned her Master’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020. She was a pediatric nurse for 13 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She has experience in general Pediatrics, Pediatric Transplant and Pediatric Urgent Care. Lindsey came to Sandy Plains Pediatrics after 9 years with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She also trained at Sandy Plains Pediatrics during her nurse practitioner program.
Lindsey relocated to the Atlanta area in 2012 from Chicago and currently lives in Woodstock. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also loves hiking and horseback riding.
